These Terms of Service govern your use of SparroPDF, a PDF conversion tool operated under Hewu Labs. By using SparroPDF, you agree to these Terms.

Service Description

SparroPDF provides online tools for converting and processing PDF files, including PDF to Word conversion and related document tools. The service is currently provided as a free tool site.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the files you upload and for how you use the service.

You agree that you will not use SparroPDF to upload, convert, store, share, or process content that:

  • Violates any law or regulation
  • Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights
  • Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Contains illegal, abusive, hateful, or exploitative material
  • Attempts to disrupt, overload, or abuse our systems
  • Attempts to reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the service
  • Is highly confidential, classified, or legally restricted unless you accept the risks of online processing

File Processing

Uploaded files are processed automatically for the purpose of providing the requested conversion. We aim to delete uploaded and converted files automatically after a limited period, normally within 1 hour. You should download your converted file promptly after processing. We are not responsible for files that are lost, corrupted, unavailable, or deleted after the retention period.

Accounts

Some features may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide accurate account information and must not impersonate another person or entity. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the service.

Free Usage

SparroPDF does not currently charge fees for using the service. We may apply free usage limits to keep the service reliable and prevent abuse.

No Refunds

Because SparroPDF does not currently charge fees, there are no charges to refund.

Service Availability

We try to keep SparroPDF reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, third-party outages, or events outside our control.

Accuracy of Conversion

PDF conversion results may vary depending on the structure, quality, fonts, images, scans, layout, and complexity of the original file. We do not guarantee that converted files will perfectly match the original PDF.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the files you upload. By uploading a file, you grant us a limited permission to process the file only for the purpose of providing the requested service. SparroPDF, Hewu Labs, website design, software, branding, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors.

Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Use the service for illegal activity
  • Upload malicious files
  • Abuse free usage limits
  • Attempt to bypass security or rate limits
  • Interfere with service operation
  • Resell or redistribute the service without permission
  • Use automated systems to overload the service

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if we believe you have violated these Terms, abused the service, created risk for other users, or caused harm to our systems.

Disclaimer

SparroPDF is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SparroPDF and Hewu Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
